DENIS, Rodolphe Percy – Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. Rodolphe “Rudy” Denis of Cornwall, age 86, proud past volunteer for the Red Cross and proud past member of the Roman Catholic School Board, the Alzheimer Society, the Waterfront Development Committee, the Knights of Columbus (Fourth Degree), the Richelieu Club and the Centennial Choir. He lived life to the fullest and was loved by everyone who knew him. Beloved husband of Denise (née Vaillancourt). Loving father of Louis Denis (Robyn) of Ottawa, Johanne Denis (Tim Mills) of Cornwall and Sylvie Denis of Montreal, Quebec. Proud grandfather of the late Elizabeth and of Mathieu, Mireille, Éric, Justin, Stéphanie, Alex and Tori, and great-grandfather of Adelyne, William, Alec, Jack, Ava and Orin. Dear brother of Rita Lefebvre (late Raymond). Dear son of the late Paul Denis and the late Graziella Denis (née Forget). Predeceased by one brother Albert Denis (late Monique) and one sister Thérèse Bourgon (late Marcel). Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, EAST BRANCH, 614 First Street East, 613-933-2841, Friday, June 28th, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, June 29th, 2019 from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral. Funeral on Saturday, June 29th, 2019 for Mass of Christian Burial at Saint-Félix-de-Valois Church, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at a later date.
