GIROUX, Roger – Mr. Roger Edouard Giroux at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus on Saturday July 25, 2020 at the age of 84 years. (former owner of Mary’s Restaurant, Monkland Ontario). Beloved husband of Mary (née Raba) Giroux. Loving father of Edgar (Carol) and Thomas (Sonia). Cherished grandfather of Adam, Shaun (Melanie), Ashley- Lynn (Mathew), Jake and great-grandfather of Sadie, Meryk and Kye. Dear brother of Lillian Connelly (Donald). Predeceased by his parents Hector and Clarita Giroux and adopted mother Marie-Anne (née Jodoin) Giroux. Roger will be sadly missed by many Nephews, nieces and friends. In keeping with Rogers wishes there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. If so desired donations in his memory to the Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
