Rolande Ménard (Gilberte)

March 23, 1932 – August 24, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rolande Ménard (nee Bourdon), on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. She passed at her residence in Orléans, surrounded by her immediate family at the age of 89.

She is survived by her husband Gaëtan Ménard, beloved husband of 66 years, her son Guy (Tammie), and her daughter Chantal as well as two grandsons, Jean-Guy and Jonathan Ménard. She was the daughter of Omer and Marie-Ange Bourdon of St. Isidore de Prescott, sister of Alban Bourdon (the late Claire) of Ottawa, and Ghislain Bourdon (Darquise) of Kirkland. She will be remembered for her loving personality, her beautiful soul, and her unwavering faith.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Orléans, on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A ceremony in memory of Rolande will follow in the Heritage Chapel at 11:30 a.m.
