Rolland C. Fobert
FOBERT, Rolland C. – It is with much sorrow that we announce the passing of Rolland (Rolly) Fobert. He is survived by his partner Judy Neimann, his sons Ted (Jan), Stephen, Joseph (Linda), Patrick, and Andrew (Malina), 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He leaves behind sisters Jeanine Alain and Elizabeth Flynn and brothers Gerard (Claire), Douglas (Francine) and Michael (Cathy).
Rolly’s death was preceded by his wife of 65 years, Blanche Beaudette, his daughter Janice, his granddaughter Joanna and his sister Rosalie.
Rolly received several honours for his work in education as a teacher, administrator, and Senior leader. Rolly rose to the position of Assistant Director for the Metro Toronto Catholic School Board. He enjoyed an active retirement, including curling, golfing, travel, and writing his memoirs.
He will be missed.
Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 16 and Friday June 17 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral. Funeral Friday, June 17, 2022 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Columban’s Parish at
11 a.m. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Williamstown to follow.
