Riviere, Ronald – Mr. Ronald Earl Riviere, suddenly at home in Cornwall on January 2, 2020 at the age of 66 years. Loving husband and best friend of Linda (MacDonald). Devoted and loved Dad of Julie Wilson (David) and Ryan Riviere (Jennifer). Proud grandfather of Avery, Caitlyn, Logan, Marissa and Ella. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Catherine and two brothers Wayne (Iris) and Brent. Ron will be greatly missed and remembered by his nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, brother-in-law’s (Bernie and Steve) and a sister in-law (Luann), as well as many extended family and friends. Ron was a long-time employee of Domtar where he worked as a millwright. He would always take the time to talk with anyone or help those who needed him. He was an avid fisherman, carpenter and the neighbourhood handyman. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will gather for visitation at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 11:00AM until 1:20PM. A celebration of Ron’s life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home after the visitation at 1:30PM.
