POIRIER, Rose – Mrs. Marie Rose Poirier at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre on Friday December 31, 2019 at the age of 96 years old. Loving mother of Normand (Judy), Jacques (Betty), Lise, and Colette Roy (late Roland). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Mathieu, Joshua, Kate, Marie, Jacques, and Sylvie, and 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Gerald Poirier, and her siblings Omer, Alphonse, Noel, Donat, Rheal, Fred, Eugenie, Cecile, Josephine, Ida, Irene, Aurore, Therese, and infant brother Joseph. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery to take place at a later date. If so desired, contributions in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall.
