Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Sharlene Jean Tessier (née McGillis) on January 27th, 2022 at the age of 56. Loving companion to James Tessier for over 40 years. Devoted mother of Jennifer Blust (Michael), Julie Leroux (Trever) and James Tessier (Ashley). Proud grandmother of Logan Leroux and proud aunt and lifetime caregiver to Chelsea Dumond. Caring sister to Linda Kuno (Howard), late Alan McGillis, Maggie McGillis, Betty McGillis (Marc), Irvin McGillis, Connie McGillis, Beverly Boyd (Henry) and late George McGillis. Daughter of Charles McGillis and Mabel Denneny. Sharlene will be missed by many other family, friends and colleagues.
Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Home, Lancaster, 46 Oak Street, 613-347-3629. As per Sharlene’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
