Sharryle Anne Turner, age 68, passed away surrounded by her children and their spouses on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Cornwall Community Hospital. She was born July 19, 1951 in New Westminster, B.C. Beloved mother of Tina and Deb (née Paquette) Michaud of Ottawa, Sarrina (née Michaud) and Claude Morin of Glen Walter, Clay and Amy (née Sanders) Michaud of Berwick and Jason Michaud of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of Jacob, Annika, Paige and Ivy. Loving daughter of Mary (née Novak) Fuhr of Kamloops, B.C. and step-daughter of Nettie (née Janyk) Turner of Vernon, B.C. Dear sister of Gary Turner of Kamloops, B.C., Jan Pearce of Calgary, AB. Predeceased by her father Fred Turner of Vernon, B.C. and her brother Tom Pearce of Calgary, AB. Sharryle retired in 2016 from teaching English as a Second Language and Literacy for the TR Leger School in Cornwall/Alexandria. Sharryle also worked for Community Living Stormont County and Community Living Alexandria. She was dedicated to both jobs for over 25 years and reached many people in a deep and positive way. Family, friends and others whose lives Sharryle touched are invited to a Celebration of Life Event to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat on Saturday November 16, 2019 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at Lahaie and Sullivan Funeral Home, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West in Cornwall (613-932-8482). In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in her honour to the CNIB Foundation or Mothers Against Drunk Driving would be appreciated by the family.
