Shawn Piche
Sunday, July 25th, 1965 – Wednesday, July 8th, 2020
With broken hearts we announce the passing of Shawn Piche at the Ottawa General Hospital on July 8, 2020 at the age of 54 years. Best friend to his wife Sylvie Piche (nee Pelletier), to his sons Jesse (Karissa) of Cornwall, and Jordan of Arnprior, and to his grandkids Mason, Leah, and Hudson. Dear friend and brother to Cathy Barone (Roy) of Long Island, N.Y., Terry Piche (Kathy) of Chapleau, Donna Berthiaume (Gilles) of Cochrane, and Randy Trottier (Maria) of the Philippines. Cherished son of the late Terrence and Lois Piche (nee Kelso) of Sturgeon Falls. Much loved by his parents in law Doris and Gervais Pelletier of Cornwall, and by all of his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Shawn was happiest being “best friend” to all his family, friends, and especially being Ampa to his grandkids and making everlasting cherished memories with them all. It’s a beautiful day, we’re on the lake, the water is calm so my best friend catch the big one. “Together Forever”. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. If so desired contributions in his memory to the Ottawa General Hospital Stem Cell Research Program would be much appreciated by the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt St., Cornwall (613-938-3888). Online messages of condolence may be made in the obituary section of: www.wilsonfuneralhome.ca
