Sherrie Ann Sweet (Trimble)

Sherrie Ann Sweet (née Trimble) passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Monday August 23, 2021. Beloved wife of David Sweet. Loving mother to Hayley Merkley, Sarah Okereke (Kristian), Christopher Sweet and Beau Trimble. Dear sister to Deborah Rose (late Maurice Rose Sr.) and Kimberley Brisebois. Cherished daughter to Jean MacDonell (Hubert Campbell) and the late Howard Trimble. Caring daughter in law to Theresa Sweet and the late Seward Sweet. The greatest nanny to Bella, Caden, Koen and Bodhi. Missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her step father Lou MacDonell. Sherrie grew up in Newington and the Cornwall area, moving later to Massena, NY with her husband David. Sherrie started her career as a hairdresser and transitioned to a caregiver with Community Living, where she touched many lives with her kindness and caring nature. Sherrie loved gardening, cooking, spoiling her Coco and spending time with her family. She will be missed and remembered by her family and friends for her thoughtfulness, her gentleness and her loving heart. In respect of Sherrie’s wishes, no visitations will take place. The family will reunite at a later date for a private celebration of her life.
