HORTON, Shirley (née Filion) – with family by her side on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Cornwall Hospice at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Bentley (Bill) Horton. Loving mother of Deborah Horton, Bryan Horton (Marie-France), Michael Horton (Barb DeJong) and Cindy Powell (Fred). Grandma Shirley was proud of her eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late George and Lola (née Tyo) Filion. Predeceased by her daughter Joanne Horton and by siblings, Leo, Gerald, Bea and Betty. The Horton family extends a special thankyou to all the staff at Cornwall Hospice for their care and compassion. Arrangements are under the care and direction of LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh St West (343-314-1194). An urn committal will take place at a later date.
