PILON, Shirley (Trudell) – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday, January 6, 2022. She was 87. She leaves her loving husband of 66 years Gerald Pilon. Cherished mother of Claire Vinette (Guy), Marlene Moise (Denis), Jacqueline Villemaire (Daniel), Daniel Pilon (Anne) and Claudette Lauber (Mike). Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother, Joey Trudell (Jean). Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Joanne (Bough) Trudell. Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday January 21, 2022 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church at 11am. Attendance will be controlled and those attending are required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing. A private Rite of Committal at Notre Dame Cemetery to follow. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
