GARDINER, Stewart: It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stewart on Saturday, October 23rd with his loving spouse, Julie Villeneuve, by his side. Former husband of Marianne Gardiner (Luc Poirier). Cherished father of Rebecca (Aaron Wereley) and Ryan (Melissa Gardiner). Beloved stepfather to Natalia Villeneuve (Scott Roy) and Émilie Villeneuve. Dear brother of Sydney (Sharon), Len (Ann), Jim (Linda), and Robert “Nick” (Cathy). Dearly missed by family friend, Al Sauve (Claire). Will be very much missed by his grandchildren McKenzie, Hannah, Morgan and Adasyn. Predeceased by his parents Lennox and Florida (née Perreault) Gardiner. Will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Attendance-controlled visitation will be held at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home, 20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall, Ontario on Monday, November 1st, 2021, from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis de Sales Church on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021, at 11am.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the CANDLELIGHTERS Childhood Cancer Support Program would be appreciated by the family.
