REED, Susan – At the Ottawa Hospital General Campus on Friday, December 31, 2021 at the age of 63 years. Beloved wife of Mark Boisvenue. Loving mother of Brendan and Kieran. Dear sister of Bill (Irene Illich). Predeceased by her parents William Reed and Anita (née Lebel) Reed and by her sister Anne.
Susan lived all of life’s roles with exceptional aplomb. She was a caring daughter, a loving sister, a fierce protector of her children, and was the rock of her husband’s soul. Those who knew her knew of her keen intellect, her love of knowledge, and her passion for all the beauty to be found in life. She was a voracious reader, and a prolific writer. She had the soul of a poet and the heart of a lioness. Susan will be sorely missed.
