McDONALD, Theresa – Theresa McDonald at Woodland Villa, Long Sault on Saturday November 2, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Theresa spent her life as an educator and taught in a number of schools in both the Catholic and Public-School Boards. She retired from St. Andrews Catholic School where she spent most of her teaching career. She was the dear sister of Bill McDonald. Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Norma McDonald and several nieces and nephews: Randy, Ricky (Joan), Jocelyn (Brad), Steven, Mora, Laurie (Ronnie), Ted (Kelly), and the late Jamie (Joanne). Predeceased by her parents Duncan and Elizabeth (née Maloney) McDonald; and brothers Frank, John “Jack”, Dan and Don. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, and Thursday 9-10:15 AM. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church on Thursday November 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal in the parish cemetery. If so desired contributions in her memory to the Woodland Villa Residents Council or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
