VALADE, Therese – At the Parisien Manor, on Sunday, October 27, 2019. Therese Valade of St. Raphael’s passed away at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late Paul Valade. Cherished mother of Claire Belanger (late Donat), Monique Quenneville (Rene), Marie-Paule Aitken (Robert), Lucie Dumouchel (Yvon) and Marcel (Denis Levesque). Dearly loved grandmother of Eric Belanger, David Belanger (Shelley Love), Suzanne Belanger (O.J. Marks), Lee-Anne McRae (Jody), Louise DeVries (Cody), Steve Aitken (Amanda Flaro), Angela White (Jason), Jessica Aitken (Mike Chalk), Julie Pullin (Matthew) and Martin Dumouchel (Sandra Haydon). Proud great grandmother of 13…and counting. Predeceased by her parents Lea (née Roy) and Andre Jeaurond; and her siblings Pauline, Jean-Denis, George (Madeleine) and Majella Paquette (late Armand). She leaves behind Marie Lauzon (late Raymond), Laurence Legault (late Bruno), Alice Neveu (late Fernand), Marthe Chenier (Jean-Guy), Bernard (Denise), Jean-Louis, Marguerite (Andre Lamer), Gerard (Jeanne), Denis (Diane and late Raymonde), Denise Gareau (Rheal and the late Anthime) and Marcel (Beatrice). Therese was an avid member of the St. Raphael’s C.W.L., L’Union Culturelles Franco-Ontarienne, Fraternite Alexandria and Brown House Circle. She was a meticulous quilter and a passionate gardener. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Relatives and friends are requested to gather at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9 – 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Raphael’s, Ontario on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11 am. Interment, St. Raphael’s Parish Cemetery.
