Urbain Bourgon
Urbain passed away peacefully at the age of 90 years at St Joseph Continuing Care Centre on Tuesday October 24, 2023 with his sons by his side. Beloved husband of the late Carmel Bourgon (McDonald), who were married for 55 years. Loving father of Micheal, Maurice (Johanne) and Gilles (Nicole), all in Cornwall. Cherished grandfather to Marc, Derek, Patrick and Nicholas. Dear son of the late Samuel Bourgon and Elise Charlebois, the youngest of 17 brothers and sisters. Loving brother of Bruno and Jeannine Payette (Roger). Predeceased by his brothers William, Henri, Robert, Marcel, Rhéal, Adrien and Achille and by his sisters Marie, Mariette, Anne, Agathe, Dora, Isabeth, and Laurentine. Urbain will be missed by his family, friends and neighbors. The family would like to acknowledge the outstanding care Urbain received from the staff at St Joseph. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East, (613-933-2841). A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday November 7, 2023 at Saint Félix de Valois at 11 a.m. followed by inurnment at St. Columbus cemetery.
