MARTEL, William George – peacefully in the arms of his two daughters and his granddaughter on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the Cornwall Community Hospital; William Martel at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Eileen (Lemoine) Martel. Loving father of Michael Martel (Bonnie), Paula Martel (Philip) and Mary Lou Leroux (Victor). Proud grandfather of Lance, Elissa, Holly, Travis, Adam, Noah, Jessica and Jonah. Cherished great-grandfather of 15. Predeceased by parents, Rene and Emilia (Cote) Martel; by one brother, Maurice Martel (Rose) and by one sister, Annette Andruck (Leslie). Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482). Cremation.
