LAGASSE, William (Bill) – Mr. William (Bill) Lagasse, well loved and respected businessman and owner of Bill’s Motor Sales for an amazing 55 years in Cornwall, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday March 28, 2019 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Mrs. Simone Lagasse (née Chretien). Loving father of Monique Willard (Stuart) and Diane Bouchard (Marcel). Cherished grandfather of four grandchildren Mélanie (Martin), Shawn, Chanelle, Shane and beloved great-grandfather of Eugénie. Predeceased by his parents Rosa Lagasse (Baker) and Olier Lagasse. Predeceased by his sisters Amanda Lemieux, Olive Martin and Mary Doré. Family will be in attendance at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES – 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 and from 9 a.m. until time of Service on Thursday. Memorial Service will be celebrated on Thursday, April 4, 2019 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the emergency staff at Cornwall Community Hospital.
