Small magnitude 3.2 earthquake

An earthquake of magnitude 3.2 occurred in the morning on Thursday, February 1st, 2024, at 7:37 am local time near Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Montérégie, Quebec, Canada, as reported by the United States Geological Survey.
According to preliminary data, the quake was located at a very shallow depth of 4.6 miles. Shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deeper ones as they are closer to the surface.
