CORNWALL, Ontario – When you’re this big, you better Dress for Success.

The 2016 edition of Cornwall Living, a popular magazine that showcases the city, United Counties and surrounding communities, was unveiled Thursday at a launch party at Esca Gourmet and Pizza Bar.

At 132 pages the latest edition of Cornwall Living is the largest ever produced by TC Media and its contributors including the economic development department at the City of Cornwall.

“As our theme this year we chose ‘Dress of Success’, because our community has worked hard to not only market itself as a destination for new families, new business and fun leisure activities, but we have made an extra effort to beautify Cornwall and area,” said TC Media Cornwall general manager Rick Shaver. “Our waterfront continues to see the Cotton Mill District evolve, and there has been millions of dollars invested in new construction throughout our region.”

The 2016 cover includes Lisa Coleman, CEO of Rent frock Repeat, a Cornwall-based that meets the needs of thousands of women, via online sales, from coast-to-coast.

Cornwall economic development officer Bob Peters interviewed Coleman for the 2016 edition of the magazine and said the local businesswoman is an inspiration to others.

“Rent frock Repeat offers women the chance to wear high-end designer dresses, hot off the runways, for a fraction of the retail cost,” said Peters. “It’s great to have a home-based business here in Cornwall that links people who have a common interest in fashion.

Shaver thanked advertisers, clients and readers for making the 2016 edition of the magazine an unqualified success.

“The reason our magazine is so popular is the relationships we have made with so many important members of our community,” he said. “Their support and commitment to our work makes the magazine a leader in marketing the great work that has made our region famous.”
