CORNWALL, Ontario – Say goodbye to 2014 and welcome 2015 with one of these enticing options.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve in style on Wednesday night at the Cornwall Golf & Country Club (1640 Sutherland Avenue) with Delight Bartending.

Enjoy a trendy party with free giveaways, a poutine bar, and complimentary champagne at midnight. Doors open at 8 p.m. Local rockers Trench Town Oddities (TTO) and Chris Benton will hit the stage at 9 p.m. A free shuttle service will run into Cornwall from 12:30 a.m. until 3 a.m. And remember to look sharp, dress code will be in effect.

The annual Ramada Inn Cornwall NYE Gala is back.

Festivities include hors d’oeuvres along with a steak and seafood dinner buffet in the Simon Fraser Ballroom. A DJ will be spinning yesterday’s classics and today’s hits.

The Best Western Parkway Inn & Conference Centre offers a lavish dinner and dance in the Cabaret Ballroom.

The menu includes shrimp cocktail, spinach and romaine salad, a 6oz filet mignon with veggies, and chocolate raspberry cheesecake for dessert, along with coffee/tea. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. The dance begins at 9 p.m.

The Knights of Columbus Hall NYE Ball invites you to dance the night away with DJ Crazy Dave.

The Cornwall & Area Pop Event (CAPE) NYE Party is your chance to geek out.

Ditch the suit and fancy dress and don a costume as Cornwall’s Alison Wonderland Band rocks the night away. At this 19+ event, a late lunch (hot & cold) will be served shortly after midnight. Party favours will also be available. Funds will help CAPE secure celebrity entertainment for its April 18, 2015 event. Doors open at 8 p.m. The band starts at 9 p.m.

The Alight at Night festival at Upper Canada Village is also a spectacular way to brighten your NYE experience.

Stroll through the illuminated Village between 5 to 9 p.m., and enjoy a series of new additions, including Saint Nick’s Merry Mansion and a 50-foot Ferris wheel ride.
