CORNWALL, Ontario – A 42-year-old man is facing a number of sexual offences after SD&G OPP began an investigation into reported incidents on Beaver Brook Road in South Glengarry.
OPP alleged that between September and November 2014, the man, a resident of South Glengarry, repeatedly sexually assaulted a female youth.
He was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 11 and charged with sexual exploitation, sexual assault, and forcible confinement.
The man was held in custody for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall Thursday, Feb. 12.
Sexual assault charges in North Stormont
SD&G OPP have charged a 29-year-old man with sexual assault after responding to a domestic situation at a residence on Roxborough Gardens Road in North Stormont.
Police said the man assaulted his spouse on several occasions between Jan. 1 and Feb. 10.
He was arrested on Wednesday (Feb. 11) and charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of assault (spousal).
The man is scheduled to appear in court on March 31.
