Cornwall man facing 17 charges

Cornwall, ON – Brandon Wilson, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on April 6th, 2022 and charged with three counts of criminal harassment, as well as fourteen counts of breach of probation for contacting a certain person, being within a certain distance of them and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged between March 22, 2022 and April 2nd, 2022, the man repeatedly attended the area where the three victim’s reside and watched the residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 6th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

ROBBERY, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Paul Giroux, 60, of Cornwall was arrested on April 6th, 2022 and charged with robbery and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on April 6th, 2022, the man attended a Ninth Street financial institution and demanded a quantity of money from an employee and fled the area. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located by police shortly thereafter and was subsequently taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 9th, 2022.

OPERATION WHILE PROHIBITED, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Blade Oakes, 22, of Akwesasne was arrested on April 6th, 2022 and charged with operation while prohibited and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on April 6th, 2022, the man was operating a motor vehicle while prohibited from doing so. He was taken into custody while stopped at the Port of Entry, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 23rd, 2022.
