CORNWALL, Ontario – Zachary McKinnon, 27, of Cornwall was arrested on Friday, March 1 and charged with the following:
Threats x 2
Mischief under $5,000
Breach of probation for possessing unlawful drugs
Failing to keep the peace
It is alleged that while at a local hotel on Friday, March 1, the man damaged a cabinet in his room, threatened to kill a man unknown to him and burn down the hotel.
Upon police investigation, the man was found to be in possession of a quantity of Xanax pills.
The man was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.
