CORNWALL, Ontario – St. Lawrence College confirmed to Seaway News that as of Thursday, Feb. 28, Deb Stava is no longer Dean of their Cornwall campus.
Laura Tulchinsky, Communications Officer with the college did not comment on when Stava’s position will be filled.
“I can confirm Deb Stava is no longer employed with St. Lawrence College, however cannot provide further comment, per standard practice regarding human resource matters,” Tulchinsky wrote in an email to Seaway News. “Staffing information will be shared when it becomes available.”
Stava had been Dean of the Cornwall campus since 2016 after taking over from Don Fairweather who retired in 2015.
Prior to coming to work in Cornwall, Stava had been employed in various roles at Northwest Community College in B.C. for 27 years, leaving as Associate Vice President of Special Projects in Dec. 2015.
