Project Ryan Charity BBQ

Project Ryan will be holding a charity BBQ at Giant Tiger on Saturday, May 11 starting at 11 a.m. Project Ryan helps improve the quality of life for developmentally challenged residents in Cornwall. While you’re there, why not stop in across the street at the Navy Club where a darts tournament fundraiser will be held.

Prader-Willi Syndrome Research Walk

Leaving from the Civic Complex at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 11. The Prader-Willi Syndrome Research Walk will be raising money for the titular disease that affects children from the time they are born throughout their lives. It is a genetic disorder who’s symptoms include weak muscles, difficulty feeding and slow development.

Charity Chili Challenge

Starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 11 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, come out for a delicious competition for a good cause. Co-sponsored by the Swinging B’s Square Dance Club, funds raised from the challenge will go to support the Alzheimer Society of Cornwall and District.
