On Thursday, June 15, 2023, Karine Leroux received the prestigious Seeonee Award from Scouts Canada. Karine belongs to the 3rd Cornwall Cub Pack. In order to achieve this award, she had to complete all of her 16 personal achievement badges, 10 outdoor skills badges, complete 15 hours of community service and complete a project to benefit/help the community. Karine chose to collect warm clothing items such as hats, sweaters, and socks for Centre 105 in Cornwall. She was able to successfully accomplish this from the generous donations by her church community at Blessed Sacrament Parish, Giant Tiger in Cornwall who donated a whole box of new hats and by her family. Karine will be moving up to Scouts in September.
