CORNWALL, Ontario – A 60-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Feb. 26 in relation to an incident that took place on Jan. 16.
The man was charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
It is alleged the man assault his sister with an umbrella, causing her to seek medical attention for her injuries.
The man was taken into custody and released to appear in court on March 28.
The man’s name was not released as it would identify the survivor involved.
