Man flees police, breaches curfew

CORNWALL, Ontario – Jonathan Hall, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on Saturday, Feb. 22 and charged with the following:

  • Resist arrest
  • Fail to appear for fingerprints
  • Breach of undertaking (for failing to abide by a curfew and failing to notify a change of address to police)
  • Breach of probation (for failing to keep the peace)

It is alleged on Feb. 7 the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints, as per his release order, as well as failed to provide his address to police. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued.

On Saturday, Feb. 22, during the early morning hours, police located the man outside, despite his curfew. He was taken into custody, at which time he resisted police and fled the area. He was located a short time later at which time he was charged accordingly and held in custody to await a bail hearing.

There were 113 calls for CPS service in the City of Cornwall over the weekend.
