CORNWALL, Ontario – A storm briefly blew through Cornwall over the lunch hour on Tuesday, July 30.

According to Scott Porter, the City of Cornwall Arborist, more than 50 trees were felled or damaged in the storm.

Most of the damage was concentrated in the East End around the Cotton Mills area, but according to Porter, no property damage has been reported so far as a result of a City tree falling.

Porter said that he expected the clean-up to take a few days.
