Shoppers flocked to Cornwall Square Saturday for the bustling Mother’s Day Market, where more than 20 local vendors offered handmade gifts, treats, and thoughtful treasures just in time for Mother’s Day.

Among the vendors was Fiona Taylor of Phoenix Bath and Beauty, a soap and bath product artisan from Hawkesbury. “We’ve been doing it for seven years,” said Taylor, who creates everything from soaps and bath bombs to shower tablets. “It started because my boyfriend had eczema, and making soap cleared up his skin. He taught me, and I found it relaxing and really enjoyable.”

Taylor said the market was a perfect opportunity to shop for Mother’s Day, especially with her themed offerings. “Our bath bombs are relaxing. They have olive oil, no detergent, and Epsom salt,” she said. “For Mother’s Day, we even have some shaped like butterflies.”
