Police seek information in shoplifting, stolen purse incidents

CORNWALL, Ontario – CPS have issued a request for the public’s assistance in two cases, including the following…

The woman pictured above is wanted regarding a theft that took place at a Ninth St. business on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at approx. 11 a.m. She allegedly attended the business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the item as she left the store.

The woman is described as follows:

– Approx. 20 to 30 years of age
– Blonde hair
– Wearing a blue jacket and black pants
– Wearing tall beige boots

CPS is also seeking information about the woman pictured below regarding a theft of a purse that took place at a business in the area of 960 Brookdale Ave. on Saturday, Nov. 23.

At approx. 10 a.m., the woman pictured below attended the business and removed a purse that was left unattended in a shopping cart.

The suspect is described as being approximately 80 years of age, with white curly hair and wearing a blue jacket with a white floral design on it.
