CORNWALL, Ontario – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Sept. 26, 2019 and charge with two counts of sexual assault. It is alleged on two occasions, the youth assaulted another youth who was known to him and police were contacted to investigate. On Sept. 26, 2019, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
CORNWALL, Ontario – Randy Charbonneau, 30, of Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 26, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On Sept. 26, 2019 he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
THEFT UNDER $5,000, BREACH
CORNWALL, Ontario – Shonna Godfrey, 22, of Cornwall was arrested on Sept. 26, 2019 and charged with theft under $5,000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on Dec. 12, 2018 and again on Sept. 23, 2019, the woman attended two different Ninth St. businesses and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. On Sept. 26, 2019 she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
