CORNWALL, Ontario – No one was injured when a fire engulfed a detached garage on Leonard Ave. on Friday, Oct. 5.
Cornwall Fire Services were called to the residence at approximately 7:45 p.m.
According to Platoon Chief Rob Cotnam, the fire was fully involved when firefighters arrived at the scene. The structure collapsed and the fire was contained.
“There was nobody in the garage. No one hurt, no injuries,” said Cotnam.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
Neighbours gathered at the scene, gifting beer cans to the affected residents.
