Drug raid in North Dundas

NORTH DUNDAS, Ontario – On May 9, 2017 at approximately 6:00am, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) officers, assisted by OPP Tactics & Rescue Unit (TRU), Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit and Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry uniform patrol members executed a Criminal Code search warrant at a residence on County Road 13, North Dundas Township.

As a result, officers seized quantities of suspected methamphetamine (crystal/pills), Hydromorph Contin and marihuana. Also seized was a BB gun and cattle prod. Stolen item were also recovered (power tools and Honda pumps). Police arrested four (4) adults.

Joey CINNAMON (37) of North Dundas Township is charged with;

– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (2 counts)

– Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition (2 counts)

– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

– Possession of a Controlled Substance

– Fail to Comply with a Probation Order (4 counts)

He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall. 

The following were charged on May 11, 2017;

Meredith PINK (45) of North Dundas Township is charged with;

– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (2 counts)

– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

– Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)

Philip MOYES (36) of Ottawa, Ontario is charged with;

– Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)

– Fail to Comply with Recognizance

Misty HAMLIN (36) of Ottawa, Ontario is charged with;

– Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)

The above three (3) accused persons were released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on June 6, 2017.
