CORNWALL, Ontario – The Cornwall Nationals are excited to host the Grey Cup on Saturday in what promises to be a historic evening at the Civic Complex.

Dan West of the Ottawa REDBLACKS will be in attendance along with the Canadian Football League’s championship trophy. Four-time Grey Cup champion, and Cornwall native, Maurice “Moe the Toe” Racine will also take part in the festivities.

The Nationals host the Danbury Titans in Federal Hockey League action at 7:30 p.m.

“I’m a huge CFL fan and I’m really excited to see the Grey Cup in person,” said Will Beauvais, owner of the Nationals. “It will be an honour to meet Dan and Moe and it promises to be a great day for sports fans in Cornwall.”

Tickets are $13 for adults, $10 for seniors/students and $5 for children under the age of 12. They are available at the box office in the Civic Complex. For more information, please call 613-938-9400.

Fans in attendance will get the opportunity to take pictures with the Grey Cup, as well as meet West and Racine.

An exclusive after-party will also be held at Boston Pizza, where fans can interact with West, Racine and Nationals players.

Once again, the Nationals will be giving back to the community by raising awareness and supporting local charities. Proceeds from the after-party, the 50/50 draw and a silent auction will go toward the Rotary Club of Cornwall, Carefor Hospice Cornwall, Maison Baldwin House and CHEO. The team will also be accepting food donations for The Agape Centre.
