CORNWALL, Ontario – Two Cornwallites are facing fraud-related offences after allegedly applying for various credit cards using someone else’s name.
The Cornwall Community Police Services says Peggy Chorazy, 49, and Mark MacGregor, 50, attended CCPS headquarters to deal with the matter on Thursday (Nov. 26), and were charged with fraud under $5,000 and uttering forged documents.
The pair was released to appear in a Cornwall court on December 29.
Theft suspect caught on bike
Cornwall police caught up with a local man accused of stealing clothes from a Second Street East store on Sept. 28, after an officer spotted the 33-year-old riding a bicycle in the area of First Street and Alice Street on Thursday.
Chris Berry was arrested and released to appear in court at a later date.
