CORNWALL, Ontario - If there's one thing that can take a little boy's mind off his cancer diagnosis it's an XBox 360.

Alex Tourangeau got exactly that Monday afternoon thanks to Small Moments of Joy and Rachel's Kids.

The local charity provided the young Cornwall boy with the gaming system, the much-coveted NHL '14 and an Ipod Touch at a small ceremony.

"I have to admit, I didn't see this coming," he said matter-of-factly after receiving the gifts.

Alex was diagnosed last summer with leukemia, but has completed treatments and is under observation for now.

Rachel's Kids and its Small Moments of Joy program have been providing local young people, who are facing personal challenges, with similar gifts.

The Rachel's Kids Garden Party and Auction takes place June 21 at the Nav Centre from 1 to 7 p.m.
