DANVILLE, Illinois – The first-place Danville Dashers dealt the Cornwall Nationals a 7-3 loss last night in Federal Hockey League action.

The two teams are right back in action tonight in Danville, which is running away with the FHL regular season title.

On Thursday, Danville outshot Cornwall 51-19 en route to their seventh straight victory.

Daniel Turgeon led the Dashers attack with two goals and two assists.

The speedy MJ Graham had two goals and an assist for Cornwall, while Tristan Perreault-Gagnon also scored. Kris McCarthy and Chris Cloutier each chipped in a pair of assists for the Nationals.

SCHEDULE CHANGE

Meanwhile, the FHL has announced a make-up game between Cornwall and the Watertown Wolves.

The game will be held on Tuesday, March 14 at the Civic Complex. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.

Cornwall also hosts Port Huron on Sunday night at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $13 for adults, $10 for seniors/students and $5 for children under the age of 12.
