CANADA WIDE - What began as a recalll of Robin Hood brand flour has now been expanded to multiple brands nationwide.

Ardent Mills is now recalling a variety of flour brands due to fears of E-Coli contamination.

Brands being recalled include Brodie 1kg bags of flour, Creative Baker 10 and 20kg bags of flour, Golden Temple 2kg bags of flour and Robin Hood 1kg and 10kg bags of flour.

Only bags with certain best before dates are being recalled. See the full list of best before dates here.

Anyone thinking that they have a bag of the recalled flour should throw it out or return it to the store where it was purchased.

Flour contaminated with E. Coli may not look bad or smell bad, but will still make consumers sick.

"Symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, mild to severe abdominal cramps and watery to bloody diarrhea," stated the Canada Food Inspection Agency on their website. "In severe cases of illness, some people may have seizures or strokes, need blood transfusions and kidney dialysis or live with permanent kidney damage. In severe cases of illness, people may die."
