CORNWALL, Ontario – Environment Canada has dropped a severe thunderstorm warning for the Cornwall area.
A storm system was approaching the region that spawned fears of hail and torrential downpours, not to mention a tornado.
But in the end there was little more than a few flashes of thunder and some steady rain in Cornwall.
There’s no word yet on how some outlying regions faired.
