CORNWALL, Ontario – Two men wearing cloths over their faces robbed a Cornwall pharmacy at knife point this week and police are searching for clues.
Cornwall police issued a release Friday detailing the crime, which saw the bandits make off with a quantity of cash and narcotics.
Police said the men entered the pharmacy, which was not identified, at about 9 p.m. on June 20. They informed staff that a robbery was underway and made demands of money and drugs.
They were able to escape in a van before police arrived.
No one was injured.
Detectives have not yet made an arrest but the police service said Friday “significant progress has been made” and a break in the case could be imminent.
