Bank robbery in North Dundas

SOUTH MOUNTAIN, Ontario –  On March 31, 2017 at approximately 11:00am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, assisted by SD&G OPP Crime Unit members responded to a report of a robbery at the Bank of Nova Scotia located on Main Street, in the Village of South Mountain, North Dundas Township.

 Investigation indicated that a lone male had entered the building and confronted a teller demanding money. No injuries resulted.

The suspect fled with a quantity of cash in a pick-up truck which was intercepted by officers a short time later on Kerrs Ridge Road. The suspect was arrested without incident and property recovered.

Jason BOLDRICK (36) of Ottawa, Ontario is charged with;

– Robbery

– Disguise with Intent

– Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon (pepper spray)

He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
