CORNWALL, Ontario – The Cornwall Community Police Service has positively identified a body found in the Cornwall Canal near Haulage Road on Saturday.
The coroner’s office says the body is that of Robert Seguin – a 67-year-old Cornwall man missing since Oct. 3.
Foul play is not suspected.
Officers were called to the soccer fields in the city’s west end early on Saturday, Oct. 25 after a person walking their dog in the area between 7 and 8 a.m. that morning reported the grisly find.
