CORNWALL, Ontario – Police said Friday afternoon that the man believed to be stabbed on Brookdale Avenue a few days ago actually committed suicide.
“It has been determined that the man took his own life and the incident is no longer a police matter,” said a CCPS media statement issued today.
The man, who was later pronounced dead at the Cornwall Community Hospital, was found on the side of Brookdale Avenue on the Ramada Inn property at about 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
