SD&G – A North Glengarry man is facing several drug-related charges after a traffic stop in Alexandria on Tuesday.
SD&G OPP say officers pulled over a vehicle on Main Street around 10 p.m. and found an undisclosed amount of marijuana, methamphetamine, and hydromorphone.
The 43-year-old driver, Michel Piette, has been charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and four counts of failing to comply with conditions of a recognizance.
The accused was held for a bail hearing at a later date in a Cornwall courthouse.
