SD&G – A 36-year-old South Dundas woman is facing arson charges after police say she set her ex-spouse’s belongings on fire.
SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a Caldwell Drive residence in Iroquois at about 3:46 p.m. on Friday (Jan. 8).
Police say the accused caused damage within the home during an altercation with her ex-spouse, in addition to setting fire to a series of “small items.”
The woman is facing charges of mischief, arson, and utter threats.
She was released and is scheduled to appear in a Cornwall court on February 9.
No names were released to protect the victim’s identity.
