CORNWALL, Ontario – Nav Centre Chef Ryan Beauvais won the Americas Copper Skillet competition in Chicago.
He won in the Junior Cook-Off category.
“I am very excited with the results and grateful for the opportunity to compete against some very talented chefs,” said Beauvais.
He will be going be going on to compete in Philadelphia in April against the European and Asia Pacific Copper Skillet winners.
Beauvais received high praise from the judges for his pork dish.
“Ryan is a creative chef who can really bring his A game under pressure,” said Nav Centre Executive Chef Luc McCabe. “I look forward to seeing him take on the world in Philadelphia.”
McCabe helped coach Beauvais for the competition.
International Association of Conference Centres (IACC) presents the Copper Skillet competition.
