CORNWALL, Ontario – A Cornwall father has been charged with sexually assaulting his own daughter.
Police said the man, 36, abused his daughter while she was between the ages of eight and 12.
On Tuesday the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter where he was arrested and charged with sexual assault. He will appear in court Oct. 13.
His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.
